Provision for Security Manned Guarding and Security Technical Services for Coega Sez and Non-sez Business

The Coega Development Corporation (CDC) invites suitably qualified and experienced service providers to submit bids for the provision of Security Manned Guarding Services and Security Technical Services for a period of three (3) years in respect of the CDC SEZ and Non-SEZ Business. This includes all CDC satellite offices and sites where CDC has been appointed as the implementing agent, encompassing both existing and new business needs, permanently or on an ad-hoc basis, and general repairs and maintenance to existing security systems.
Bidders must be VAT registered and submit bids inclusive of VAT. Non-VAT vendors who will exceed R1 million annual turnover must register with SARS upon award. All bidders and JV/Consortium members must be registered on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD) and be tax compliant. Entities must provide valid B-BBEE certificates or sworn affidavits as per DTI template. Bidders will be evaluated on functionality with a minimum threshold of 70 points, after which the 90/10 preference point system will apply.
