Scope of Work
The Free State Department of Public Works and Infrastructure seeks Expressions of Interest from Civil Engineering Consultants to provide services for the construction of Morena Tshohisi Moloi II Primary School in Harrismith. The required services encompass Stage 5 (Contract Administration and Inspection) through Stage 6 (Close-Out) for the project, which involves the construction of 25 classrooms, 3 Grade R classrooms, a media centre, science laboratory, administration block, nutrition centre, multipurpose hall, security room, and sports facilities. The project is currently at approximately 30% completion.
Eligibility requires consultants to be registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as Professional Civil Engineers. Bidders must demonstrate valid tax compliance, CSD registration, valid Letter of Good Standing from COIDA, and Professional Indemnity Insurance of at least R5 million. Attendance at the compulsory clarification meeting is mandatory.
