Scope of Work
The Department of Public Works and Infrastructure invites Expression of Interest from Structural Engineering Consultants to provide structural engineering services for the construction of Morena Tshohisi Moloi II Primary School in Harrismith. Services are required from Stage 5 (Contract Administration and Inspection) to Stage 6 (Close-Out). The project involves the construction of 25 classrooms, 3 Grade R classrooms, a media centre, science laboratory, administration block, nutrition centre, multipurpose hall, security room, and sports facilities.
Bidders must be registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Structural Engineer (PrEng) and provide valid proof of professional registration. Bidders must also provide proof of Professional Indemnity Insurance to the minimum value of R5 million.
