Construction of 54 Top-structure Units at Ntuzuma D Phase 2 & 3 Extension Housing Project, Ward 43

This tender is for the construction of 54 low-cost top-structure housing units at Ntuzuma D, Phase 2 & 3 Extension Housing Project in Ward 43. The project involves site establishment, internal infrastructure (clearing, earthworks for roads and platforms, stormwater drainage, and potentially water reticulation if required), and the construction of the top structures including foundations, 140mm blockwork, first-floor slabs and staircases (where applicable), tiled roofs on timber trusses, plumbing, electrical, finishes, and service connections, all to NHBRC requirements.

Eligibility requires the tenderer to be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and the eThekwini Municipality Supplier Portal at the time of tender closing. A CIDB contractor grading designation of 5GB or higher is estimated. Joint Ventures must have each member registered with CIDB and separately submit Tax Compliance Status PINs. Tenderers must provide proof of verifiable experience in similar works within the past 5 years.
