The Free State Department of Public Works and Infrastructure invites Expressions of Interest from Mechanical Engineering Consultants to provide services for Stages 5 (Contract Administration and Inspection) to 6 (Close-Out) for the construction of Morena Tshohisi Moloi II Primary School in Harrismith. The project involves various school facilities including classrooms, a media centre, science laboratory, administration block, nutrition centre, multipurpose hall, security room, and sports facilities, with an estimated project cost of R5,300,000.00 excluding contingencies and VAT. The current building status is approximately 30% complete and the project duration is eighteen (18) months.
Bidders must submit a complete bid document including all mandatory returnable documents, completed in handwriting with a black pen. Key eligibility criteria include valid tax compliance (SARS PIN/CSD MAAA), valid CSD Registration Report (not older than 3 months), a Letter of Good Standing from COIDA, certified company registration documents (CIPC), professional registration with ECSA as a Professional Mechanical Engineer (PrEng) with a certified copy of the certificate, and Professional Indemnity Insurance to a minimum value of R5 million.
