Construction of Nguqunguqu Culvert Bridge in Ward 3

The scope of work involves the construction of the Nguqunguqu Culvert Bridge in Ward 3, Dannhauser Local Municipality. This includes building an approximately 20m long culvert bridge and a 1,500m long single-lane, two-way gravel access road with an average width of 6 metres, including shoulders. Associated works comprise earthworks, road layerworks, stormwater drainage infrastructure, erosion protection, and ancillary works, with labour-intensive methods to be used for certain activities.
Eligibility requires bidders to be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and possess a CIDB grading of 6CE or higher. A compulsory clarification meeting on 2026-08-12 is mandatory, and bidders must meet a minimum functionality threshold of 75 out of 100 points, followed by an 80/20 preference point system evaluation. Additionally, tenderers must provide pre-incorporated 10% subcontracting to an emerging contractor and adhere to a minimum Contract Participation Goal (CPG) of 30%.
