Appointment of Service Providers for the Supply, Delivery and Off-loading of Petrol and Automotive Diesel on an As-and-when-required Basis from Date of Award Until 30 June 2029

The City of Ekurhuleni seeks to appoint service providers for the supply, delivery, and off-loading of petrol and automotive diesel on an as-and-when-required basis from the date of award until 30 June 2029. This contract aims to establish a panel of multiple service providers to ensure a continuous and reliable fuel supply to over 36 City depots, reduce reliance on a single supplier, and secure fuel at fair, market-related prices through a transparent rebate mechanism.

Bidders must comply with all applicable legislative requirements, including CSD and tax compliance. Eligibility for the technical evaluation stage requires meeting specific minimum requirements, including having two fuel tanker trucks (minimum 6000 Tare) with valid operator cards, two drivers with Code EC (Code 14) licenses, PrDP for dangerous goods (category D), Hazchem certification, and current medical certificates. Bidders must also demonstrate access to at least R5,000,000 in credit/financing, provide three signed client reference letters for past fuel supply (minimum 1500 litres each), and possess a valid Wholesale Licence Certificate, valid SANS Test Reports for fuel, and COIDA registration.
