Replacement of 60mva 132/66/33kv Transformer No.2 at Tarentaalrand Substation

The Greater Tzaneen Municipality invites bids from interested service providers for the replacement of a 60MVA 132/66/33kV Transformer No.2 at Tarentaalrand Substation. The scope of work involves the full replacement of the specified transformer and associated neutral earthing compensator.

To be eligible, bidders must provide proof of tender document purchase, detailed work experience with appointment and completion certificates, key personnel and their qualifications, proof of plant and equipment, a CIDB grading of 7EP or higher, registration as an Electrical Contractor with the Department of Labour, recent 3-year audited financial statements, an original R3,000,000.00 tender guarantee, and fully completed Schedules A&B for both the transformer and the Neutral Earthing Compensator (NECRT). Administrative requirements include CIPC company registration, certified ID copies of all directors, a CSD summary report, a valid Tax Compliance Status Pin, and municipal rates and taxes or valid proof of residence.
