Collection, Transportation and Disposal of Screenings and Grit from All Erwat Sites

ERWAT (Ekurhuleni Water Care Company) invites bids from professional, reputable service providers for the collection, transportation, and environmentally friendly disposal of hazardous waste, specifically screenings and grit, and general waste from all 19 ERWAT Water Care Works (WCWs) across the City of Ekurhuleni, Lesedi, and Midvaal Municipalities. This contract is for a period of thirty-six (36) months, on an as-and-when-required basis, and includes the supply of necessary equipment, vehicles, drivers, and resources while ensuring compliance with relevant waste management and traffic regulations.

Bidders must be registered/licensed with Gauteng Province as a hazardous waste transporter and must provide documentation demonstrating ownership or a lease agreement for a minimum of two skip trucks (with a 6m³ payload capacity each) and proof of capacity for a minimum of 19 skip bins. A compulsory virtual briefing session must be attended (attendance recorded), and bidders must achieve a minimum score of 80 out of 100 points in the functionality evaluation based on company experience, supported by signed reference or completion certificates.
