Provision of Security Services for a Period of Thirty-six (36) Months

Knysna Municipality invites tenders for the Provision of Security Services for a period of 36 months, covering two sections. Section A includes installation, monitoring, armed response, and maintenance of security alarms, CCTV, surveillance systems, beams, and related security technology. Section B covers physical security, access control, ad-hoc close protection, and anti-land invasion support services. Bidders can express interest in either section A or B or both, but a Service Provider will only be appointed for one section.
Tenders will be evaluated on functionality, requiring a minimum score of 70 out of 100 points to proceed to the price and preference points system (90/10). Bids are subject to the Council Supply Chain Management Policy, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000, and the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022. No bids will be considered from persons in the service of the state.
