Supply and Delivery of 40mva Power Transformer and Associated Electrical Equipment for ESKOM Substation at Elidz

The East London Industrial Development Zone (ELIDZ) invites proposals for the supply and delivery of a 40MVA power transformer and associated electrical equipment for the Eskom substation at the ELIDZ. This project aims to upgrade the existing substation to accommodate a third transformer bay, supporting the ELIDZ's power supply capacity. The scope includes primary equipment such as circuit breakers, current transformers, isolators, surge arrestors, post insulators, and the 40MVA OLTC two winding transformer.
Bidders must submit a valid original or certified B-BBEE Certificate/Sworn Affidavit, CSD Registration, valid Tax Clearance, Letter of Good Standing from Compensation Commissioner, SBD 8, SBD 9, and proof of CIDB registration in category 6EP or higher. An Eskom approved vendor number and Electrical Contractors Board certificate are compulsory. Bids will be evaluated on functionality (70% minimum threshold) and an 80/20 preference point system.
