Appointment of Two (2) Service Providers for the Supply, Delivery and Off-loading of Personal Protective Equipment and Specialised Personal Protective Clothing for Energy Services for a Period of Three (3) Years

Polokwane Municipality invites bids for the appointment of two (2) service providers for the supply, delivery, and off-loading of personal protective equipment and specialised personal protective clothing for the Energy Services Business Unit, for a period of three (3) years. The required items are detailed in the pricing schedule and specifications, including various arc flash protective suits, shirts, trousers, socks, hard hats, headgear kits, safety boots, gloves, aprons, and bush hats, all complying with relevant SANS and international standards. Bidders must comply with administrative requirements including submission of all bid document pages, completion in black ink, a valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) number, and proof of municipal rates and taxes or a valid lease agreement. Joint venture agreements, if applicable, must be properly signed. Bidders must also submit various MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD5, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) and a valid tax compliance status certificate. Failure to meet these critical criteria will result in disqualification. Bids will not be considered from persons in the service of the state or those who have engaged in corrupt practices or poor performance on previous contracts.
