Provision of Laundry Services at Injisuthi, Kamberg, Giant’s Castle, and Thendele Resorts for a Duration of Five (05) Years

This tender seeks a Service Provider to deliver high-quality laundry services for Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife's facilities at Injisuthi, Kamberg, Giant's Castle, and Thendele Resorts over a duration of five (05) years. The scope of services includes the collection, processing (washing, drying, ironing), and delivery of all soiled linens, ensuring compliance with hygienic standards, quality control, and the management of typical soiling such as body fluids, food, and beverages.
Prospective bidders must demonstrate proven experience in high-volume commercial laundry operations, specifically in hospitality or healthcare linens, and must comply with relevant health and safety regulations. Mandatory eligibility criteria include full registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) by the closing time, attendance at the compulsory briefing session with a signed and stamped certificate, and possession of public liability insurance with a minimum cover of R5 million. Bidders must also provide a minimum of three (3) reference letters for laundry service contracts (at least one year's experience within the last ten years), prove ownership or a valid lease for at least two Light Delivery Vehicles (LDVs), and demonstrate ownership or a valid lease of a laundry facility equipped with at least two industrial washing machines (10kg capacity each), two industrial dryers (10kg capacity each), and industrial finishing equipment (roller iron or steam press).
