Provision of Comprehensive VAT and Other Tax Advisory and Related Tax Services on an "as and When" Required Basis for a Period of Thirty-six (36 Months)

SANRAL invites proposals from suitably qualified and experienced service providers to provide tax advisory and related tax services for a period of thirty-six (36) months. The appointed service provider will provide specialist tax advisory services to ensure compliance with applicable tax legislation, support tax governance, and mitigate tax risks. The scope of work includes providing VAT opinions, assistance with VAT apportionment, support during VAT regulatory audits, VAT and other related training, assistance with PAYE reconciliations, VAT certificates, exemptions, Company Income Tax (CIT) matters, data analytics for VAT compliance risks, tax audits, identification of tax and system risks, interpretation of tax law, and assistance with SARS VAT modernisation.

Bidders are required to submit one original, one hard copy, and one electronic copy of the bid documentation. Eligibility criteria include registration on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD) and demonstrating tax compliance. A B-BBEE status level verification certificate or sworn affidavit must be provided. For Joint Ventures, a consolidated B-BBEE certificate and a formal JV agreement are required.
