Scope of Work
The Overberg District Municipality requires suitable service providers for the provision of traffic management training, specifically Unit Standard 258923, for personnel within its Roads Department. This training aims to enhance safety, competency, and productivity in traffic management activities on active maintenance and construction sites within the Overberg District.
To be eligible, bidders must first pass a functionality/technical evaluation with a minimum score of 70 out of 100 points; bids will not be considered further if this threshold is not met. No sub-contracting to third parties is permitted. Key requirements include facilitators proficient in at least two official languages (Afrikaans, English, isiXhosa), assessors registered with the relevant ETQA, and the training institution must be accredited as a provider by SAQA through the relevant ETQA. Training is expected to commence within two weeks of contract award and be completed by 30 October 2026.
