The City of Ekurhuleni seeks accredited service providers to facilitate Spazashop registration, compliance support, business licence audit/enforcement, training, and partnership optimization. This initiative, on an as-and-when-required basis from the award date until June 30, 2029, aims to formalise and grow the township economy by enhancing local entrepreneurship, reducing poverty, and increasing employment opportunities within the City.
Eligibility requires bidders to comply with all applicable legislative requirements, including CSD registration, Tax Compliance Status, and Municipal Supply Chain Management Regulations. Bidders must demonstrate adequate financial capacity (R500,000 minimum), possess relevant company accreditation (e.g., QCTO SDP or SETA), and ensure all proposed key personnel meet specified qualification and experience minimums. Failure to submit required municipal accounts, annual financial statements (if applicable), or B-BBEE documentation will lead to disqualification.
