Thulamela Municipality invites experienced external landfill auditors for the provision of an external landfill audit, including the determination of remaining air space, at the Thohoyandou Landfill Site. The audit scope requires expertise in environmental management systems relating to landfill, covering aspects such as landfill permits, national waste management strategy, SAWIS implementation guidelines, hydrological investigations, specific environmental legislation, and other relevant waste management policies in South Africa.
Bidders must demonstrate compliance with tax obligations and registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). They are required to submit proof that municipal rates and taxes for both the company and its director(s) are not in arrears for more than three months, or provide a valid lease agreement or official exemption letter if operating from leased premises or an unbilled area. Additionally, bidders must provide a list of similar external landfill audit projects completed in the last five years, including client details, project descriptions, contract values, and supporting appointment letters or purchase orders.
