Services for Animal Impoundment, Control, Care, Veterinary Treatment, and Euthanasia in Stellenbosch Municipal Area

Stellenbosch Municipality requires professional, humane, and legally compliant animal impoundment, care, veterinary treatment, euthanasia, and animal control services. This includes emergency callouts, animal handling, transport, carcass removal and disposal, and associated operational support to the Law Enforcement Department within the Stellenbosch Municipal Area on an as-and-when-required basis. The tender is divided into categories, for which the Municipality may appoint one or more service providers, covering impoundment, control, care, veterinary treatment, euthanasia, and carcass disposal for both large and small animals.Bidders must demonstrate experience in animal impoundment and related services, provide three contactable references from comparable projects, and submit specific certifications including a veterinarian's SAVC registration, an appointment agreement with a veterinarian, and a layout of their impoundment/care facility. Bidders must also be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and ensure their tax status and municipal accounts are compliant. Attendance at the compulsory clarification meeting is required.
