Appointment of a Service Provider for Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) Switchgears Maintenance and Repairs for a Period of Three (3) Years

This tender is for the appointment of a service provider for the maintenance and repair of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) switchgears for a period of three years. The service includes annual major maintenance, full inspection, testing, and servicing of relays and panel components, emergency and ad-hoc call-out support, and submission of detailed maintenance and condition assessment reports for various switchgear panels (11kV MV vacuum, 11kV MV oil, and 400V LV circuit breakers) at SABC Auckland Park.
Bidders must provide proof of a CIDB Grading of at least 5EP or higher and a valid copy of a Health and Safety Officer registered with SACPCMP. Key returnable documents include a SARS Tax Compliance "Pin," a valid B-BBEE Certificate (or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs), a valid TV License Statement or affidavit, certified copies of company registration documents, shareholders' certificates, ID documents of directors/members, and proof of CSD registration. A minimum functionality threshold of 95 out of 120 points must be achieved to proceed to the price and specific goals evaluation stage.
