Scope of Work
The Mossel Bay Municipality invites tenders from recognised tabloid size or bigger printed newspapers for rendering advertising services over a 3-year period from 01 July 2027 to 30 June 2030. This service encompasses the placement of advertisements in general printed full-colour newspapers and across various digital platforms.
Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database and are required to submit proof of their B-BBEE status. Newspapers must maintain a minimum average circulation of 6,500 copies per edition in the Garden Route municipal district, with at least 3,500 copies circulating within Mossel Bay. A proven online following is mandatory, including Facebook (150,000), WhatsApp Channel (30,000), and YouTube (10,000). Publications must appear at least once a week, be tabloid-sized or larger with a minimum of 12 pages (excluding supplements), and tender prices must be inclusive of advertising design costs.
