Term Tender for the Provision of Lawn Mowing Services for the City of Cape Town

This tender is for a term contract for the provision of lawn mowing services for various City of Cape Town facilities, including public open spaces, road reserves, community halls, swimming pools, cemeteries, libraries, and other City-owned/managed facilities across multiple districts (Table Bay, Blaauwberg, Tygerberg, Northern, Southern, Cape Flats, Mitchells Plain - Khayelitsha, Helderberg). Services are required on an ad-hoc basis and include mowing to specified heights (ankle and knee height), trimming edges, collecting and removing vegetative material and debris, and managing invasive plants.
To be eligible, bidders must submit a tender offer that complies in all aspects with the tender conditions, specifications, and pricing instructions. Key requirements include registration on the CCT Supplier Database and the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD), submission of a valid Tax Compliance Status PIN, and demonstration of sufficient experience in commercial lawn mowing projects (minimum of one project of 50,000 m² or more completed since 2014, with supporting documentation). Functionality will be evaluated based on experience and project value, requiring a minimum qualifying score of 60 out of 100 to proceed.
