Appointment of Panel of Service Providers to Supply and Delivery of Premix and/or Laying of Bitumen or Asphalt Products for Three Years

This contract seeks to appoint a panel of service providers for the supply, delivery, and/or laying of premix, bitumen, or asphalt products for a period of three (3) years. The services encompass the full scope of road surfacing and rehabilitation, including the supply of materials, surface preparation, laying of premix, slurry sealing, and surface sealing using various methods, as well as the delivery of emulsion in non-returnable drums to various locations within the Alfred Duma Local Municipality.
Bidders must be suitably qualified and experienced, possessing a CIDB grading of 3SB or higher, and be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Distributors involved in the supply of products must hold a valid Certificate of Competency for safe transport of cold mix and ensure their heating systems can maintain required spray temperatures. Furthermore, bidders are required to submit three-year audited financial statements if the bid value exceeds R10 million, and certify that they have no outstanding debts to the Municipality or any other service provider.
