Scope of Work
This tender seeks a panel of service providers for the provision of transport services to qualifying and approved learners attending schools in the Eastern Cape Province for a period of thirty-six (36) months, commencing from the 2027/28 financial year. Operators are expected to ensure safe, dignified, and lawful transportation of learners.
Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and submit vehicle information via FORM 2, including proof that vehicles are registered in the bidder's name. A minimum of R500,000.00 valid Passenger Liability Insurance (PLI) per vehicle is required. Successful bidders will be required to utilize a compatible smart handheld device (Android 12+ or iOS 12+ minimum) for the EC DoT Mobile Application and the Learner Transport Management System (LTMS).
