Scope of Work
Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) is inviting proposals for the lease of premises extending to 16.25m2 at Elliot Basin within the Port of Cape Town. This request for proposal is for a lease period of up to ten (10) years, with the premises designated for storage activity starting from 01 November 2026.
Bidders must comply with tax obligations, register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), and submit all required returnable documents, including a priced rental offer. Functionality will be evaluated with a minimum threshold of 66.67 out of 100 points, followed by price and specific goals (B-BBEE status, black youth ownership, black female ownership, people with disabilities ownership) using either an 80/20 or 90/10 preference system depending on the contract value. The premises explicitly exclude the handling and storage of hazardous chemicals, staging of trucks, storage of fertilizers, truck refueling station, contained handling depots activities, and dust minerals in open areas.
