Scope of Work
This Expression of Interest (EOI) aims to identify and select new-entrant, 100% black-owned Exempted Micro Enterprises (EMEs) and Qualifying Small Enterprises (QSEs) as Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) beneficiaries for the contracted Valves Service Contractor(s) for the Valves Services Contract. Selected beneficiaries will perform subcontracted valve maintenance and outage services at Eskom power stations for a period of five (5) years, receiving a minimum of 30% of the contractor's technical scope as subcontracted work, along with a structured development programme.
Specific eligibility requires respondents to be new entrants who have not previously contracted with Eskom or ERI. Enterprises owned by black women, black youth, and black people with disabilities are strongly encouraged to respond. Mandatory criteria include CIPC and CSD registration, 100% black ownership (EME/QSE status), tax compliance, clear declarations regarding interests and defaulter status, and proof of access to finance with a minimum facility of R26 million.
