Scope of Work
Appointment of a service provider for ad hoc critical repairs and localised asbestos roof encapsulation of buildings located at Armscor Dockyard, Simon's Town. Work will be performed on an as-needed basis, initiated by a written Work Authorisation (WA).
Bidders must attend a compulsory briefing session and site inspection. Bidders must be registered with the CIDB as a General Building contractor with a 3GB or higher grading and be a type 3 registered asbestos contractor. Bidders also need to demonstrate relevant experience in asbestos roof repair, replacement, encapsulation, or removal projects within the last 10 years.
