Scope of Work
The Department of Land Reform and Rural Development requires a contractor for siting, drilling, testing, and equipping a total of seven boreholes across four farms (Tarbert No. 65 IT, Graspan 222 IS, Komatidraai 417 JT, and Goedehoop 308IR) in the Gert Sibande District Municipality, Mpumalanga Province. The project aims to improve access to sustainable, safe water for rural communities through the installation of solar, windmill, or diesel generator-powered pumps, elevated water tanks and stands, and associated pipework for water conveyance.
This tender is open to CIDB registered contractors with a grading of 3CE or higher. Joint ventures are eligible, provided all members are CIDB registered and the lead partner meets the 3CE or higher requirement. A compulsory tender clarification meeting is required for all bidders.
