Appointment of a Panel of Building Maintenance Contractors (3 Years)

This Request for Quotations (RFQ) seeks to appoint a panel of suitably qualified and experienced building maintenance contractors to provide comprehensive construction and maintenance services at the NRF-SAAO site in Sutherland, Northern Cape, for a three-year period. Services include scheduled, preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance for all buildings, structures, and related site infrastructure, encompassing general building repairs, roofing, civil work, carpentry, painting, plumbing, safety and fixtures, and special works.
Bidders must submit a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, a valid tax compliance status pin, and be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). A CIDB grading of 2GB or higher is required. Proposals must include a company profile demonstrating capacity and experience, evidenced by three reference letters or purchase/appointment letters for similar projects completed between 2021 and 2026, a valid COIDA certificate, and Public Liability Insurance of at least R2,000,000. Attendance at the compulsory briefing session is mandatory.
