Provision of Server Infrastructure with Professional Services for Three Disrict Offices (joe Gqabi, Chris Hani & Alfred Nzo) and Vmware Renewal

This tender is for the refresh and upgrade of server infrastructure environment for three (3) regions and the extension of Veeam to version 13.01 or later. The scope includes server infrastructure with a 5-year warranty for support and maintenance, backup software with a 3-year license validity, configuration of old storage as a backup container, activation of a Departmental Disaster Recovery Site on a cloud environment replicating from the head office, and provision of 100TB Veeam Data Cloud Vault for Azure immutable storage. New equipment must include 42U server racks, populated with top-rack switches, control servers, host servers, storage, rack UPS, power distribution units, cabling, KVM, and all relevant accessories. Data migration, decommissioning of old infrastructure, and project management adhering to high professional standards are also required, with full skill transfer to departmental administrators.

Only bidders registered on CSD as service providers or capable of registration prior to evaluation are eligible. The Service Provider must be registered under SITA 1183 and 2003 Transversal Contract, with proof attached. Bidders must operate in the Eastern Cape Province with proof of business address (valid lease agreement, ownership, or municipal rates statement). All engineers must possess valid HCIA x2, HCIP x1, and HCSA/SP x1 certifications; missing or expired certifications will result in disqualification.
