Maintenance and Upgrade of Municipal GIS Web Portal

The purpose of this project is to appoint a qualified and experienced service provider to design, upgrade, implement, and maintain a secure, scalable, and user-friendly web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) platform for the Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality. The service provider will be responsible for upgrading the existing portal, updating and maintaining the spatial information, incorporating new datasets, and hosting the portal and its data on a reliable external platform for a period of three (3) years, with payments made on an annual basis.
Eligibility requires bidders to achieve a minimum of 70% on functionality evaluation. Bidders must submit CIPC registration, certified ID copies of directors, proof of CSD registration, a valid SARS Tax PIN, and fully completed MBD forms. Additionally, a signed certification confirming no overdue municipal accounts, a joint venture agreement (if applicable) with all partners' tax pins, proof of Professional Indemnity, proposed project team CVs with professional registrations, relevant appointment and reference letters for experience, and a signed Authority to Sign Bid Document (Directors' Resolution) are compulsory.
