Supplier Quality Management Specification

The primary objective of this specification is to define the minimum quality requirements for all existing and potential Eskom suppliers. It establishes quality criteria for supplier selection, evaluation, vendor registration, management, monitoring, assessment, and auditing processes, emphasizing adherence to the ISO 9001 standard. Suppliers are required to develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve a Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001. A valid ISO 9001 certificate from an accredited certification body is generally mandatory, unless explicitly excluded. Bid submissions must include a completed and signed Form A (Tender and Contract Quality Requirements) along with other returnable documents specified in the List of Tender Returnable document (240-12248652).
