Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of 450kva Diesel Standby Generator at Fidel Castro Building, Bloemfontein

The Department of Public Works and Infrastructure seeks a suitably qualified contractor for the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of a 450kVA diesel standby generator at the Fidel Castro Building in Bloemfontein. The project includes the decommissioning and removal of the existing generator, supply and installation of a new unit with acoustic enclosure, base frame, automatic control panel, fuel system, and exhaust system, along with associated civil modifications, electrical works including a new Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), fuel system setup, and comprehensive testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
Bidders must possess a CIDB contractor grading of 3EP or higher, maintain active CIDB registration, and have valid SARS tax compliance status and CSD registration not older than 3 months. Only original, signed documents completed in black pen will be accepted, and no subcontracting is allowed for maintenance services. A compulsory clarification meeting is scheduled for 29 July 2026 at 11:00 AM at Mokhali Boardroom, 23rd Floor, Fidel Castro Building, Bloemfontein.
