Supply and Installation of Electronic Firearm and Key Management Security Systems for Government Printing Works

This Request for Proposals seeks a service provider to supply and install integrated electronic security systems, specifically an Electronic Firearm Management System (EFMS) and an Electronic Key Management System (EKMS), at the administrative headquarters of Government Printing Works (GPW). The objective is to enhance security, accountability, and operational efficiency in managing firearms and critical keys through secure storage, real-time monitoring, automated audit trails, access control, reporting, and user accountability.
Bidders must demonstrate successful completion of at least two projects relevant to electronic key management or electronic firearm management systems within the last 10 years, each with a contract award value of R500,000.00 or more. Mandatory requirements include registration with the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD), possession of a valid SARS Tax Pin, and submission of a SANAS-accredited B-BBEE Certificate or Affidavit. Attendance at the compulsory online briefing session is also required.
