Scope of Work

The Department of Basic Education (DBE) seeks to appoint a service provider or a consortium of service providers to supply 1100 Forcepoint licenses and provide associated onsite support for a period of three (3) years. This initiative aims to strengthen web and email security against phishing emails for all workstations and servers within the DBE environment.

Bidders must be accredited resellers of Forcepoint. A company profile is required for each bidding entity, including all members of a consortium or joint venture. All prices must be fixed, inclusive of VAT, and separated for license fees and maintenance/support. Bidders are required to submit all fully completed and signed SBD forms and comply with all tax obligations by providing a SARS unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) or a CSD number.
