Professional Service Provider for Occupational Health Medical Tests Services for 36 Months

Overberg Water is inviting Professional Service Providers for the provision of Occupational Health Medical Tests services on an as and when required basis for a period of 36 months. The successful bidder will be required to provide these services, conduct medical examinations in line with work nature and risk exposure, and travel to three different sites (Caledon, a rural site near Swellendam, Rûensveld East WTW, Ruensveld West WTW, and Caledon Offices) to examine approximately 77 individuals. The main purpose is to evaluate physical and psychological capacity, promote employee health and safety, detect risks, and comply with statutory requirements, covering various medical examinations like Baseline/Pre-Placement, Periodic, Transfer and Exit Medical Examination, Working at Heights, Construction Work, Hazardous Biological Exposure, Hazardous Chemical Substances Exposure, Eye tests, Lung function tests, Baseline Audiogram, Periodic Audiogram, Exit Audiogram, Medical evaluations for incapacity investigation, and Chest X-rays.
All pre-employed and periodic medical examinations must be conducted by an approved Occupational Health Practitioner registered with HPCSA, or a HPCSA registered general practitioner if an approved occupational health practitioner is unavailable. Bidders must submit a valid BBBEE Verification Certificate from a SANAS Accredited Verification Agency, or a sworn affidavit for EMEs. Tax Compliance Pin Number and/or CSD Registration printout are mandatory. The bid must be valid for 120 days from the closing date. Prices must be per individual medical examination and include VAT.
