Graphic Design and Layout of the Exhibition for the Nelson Mandela Prison House

The tender seeks a service provider for the graphic design and layout of the exhibition for the Nelson Mandela Prison House Museum. This involves translating approved content into final exhibition layouts, preparing complete design layouts for panels and associated materials, image preparation including scanning and retouching, attending site visits, conducting printer visits and proofing sessions, and ensuring strict adherence to Iziko's curatorial direction and approved design framework. The exhibition will feature approximately 30 free-standing indoor glass display panels, 6 Corten steel outdoor display panels, 15 Corten steel "Milestone" display panels, and 30 object labels, requiring upscale/retouching of approximately 40 images/documents.
Bidders must demonstrate a relevant track record and industry experience as an established layout artist, graphic designer, design studio, or creative agency, specifically in producing high-quality design work for museums, art galleries, or print media publications. Eligibility requires the submission of a detailed company profile with a portfolio showcasing a minimum of seven verifiable visual examples from previous projects, at least three verifiable contactable reference letters, and the allocation of a senior team member with relevant leadership and project management experience. Furthermore, a valid B-BBEE Certificate or Sworn Affidavit, a Central Supplier Database (CSD) Report, and a Tax Status Verification Pin are mandatory returnable documents.
