Development of Prototypes

ELIDZ STP invites innovators, small enterprises, and entrepreneurs to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the development of prototypes within the ELIDZ Science & Technology Park. The project aims to attract and incubate entrepreneurs who will develop prototypes aligned with ELIDZ Strategic focus sectors such as Automotive, Sustainable Energy, Aquaculture, Agri-industries, Digital economy, Advanced Manufacturing, and Logistics. This initiative supports the establishment of capabilities to produce prototypes for demonstrating innovations to potential investors, facilitating testing, or industrial production.
Respondents must be registered business entities, classified as MSMEs, and based in the Eastern Cape Province (with verifiable proof of residence). The technology or design must be at a pre-revenue stage of development and have the potential to create competitive new Intellectual Property (IP). The proposed prototype must align with ELIDZ focus sectors and Eastern Cape Province priority sectors. Only proposals achieving a minimum qualification score of 70% in the Technical (Functionality) Evaluation will be considered.
