Appointment of an Accredited or Qualified Funeral Undertaker for Provision of Burial Services of Paupers for a Period of Three (03) Years

The Polokwane Municipality invites bids from accredited or qualified funeral undertakers for the provision of burial services for paupers, as and when required, for a period of three (03) years. Services include body collection, registration of death, provision of pressed wood untreated coffins, transportation and burial of bodies, and granite grave markers in designated municipal cemeteries. Bidders must possess a valid Certificate of Competence and be registered with at least one of the following associations: NFDA, SAFPA, IFDA, or FFPSA, providing certified proof of registration. Furthermore, bidders must have at least 2-4 years of experience in providing burial services and demonstrate financial ability through proof of funding from an authorized financial service provider or a credit facility with a minimum balance of R100,000.
