Procurement of Password Management Solution Including Support and Maintenance for a Period of Five (5) Years.

The Road Accident Fund (RAF) requires a service provider to supply and implement an enterprise Password Management Solution to provide RAF with the capability to generate and securely store passwords. This solution must be deployed on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model for a period of five (5) years. The proposed solution will play a crucial role within Technology and Digital Security's overall cybersecurity strategy, enabling RAF employees to generate strong/complex passwords, unique for each system/application, and improve password management practices. The solution must be web-based or application-based, support multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, MacOS), browser extensions (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari), generate customizable complex passwords, and be scalable for at least 3,600 users.
Bidders must be eligible, registered service providers with a business continuity management plan. All Standard Bidding Documents (SBD Forms) must be fully completed and signed. Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and be tax compliant with SARS, with a 7-day grace period to rectify non-compliance. Furthermore, the Bidder must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or a licensed/accredited Partner/Supplier of the proposed solution, providing valid documentary proof of their partnership. The proposed solution must also be compliant with GDPR/POPIA, and its hosting data centre must reside within the European or South African geographical location.
