Professional Civil and Structural Engineering Services at Mt Ayliff and Matatiele Service Offices

The Eastern Cape Department of Public Works and Infrastructure invites professional service providers for Civil and Structural Engineering Services at the Mt Ayliff and Matatiele Service Offices. The scope includes providing standard engineering services as outlined in the Guideline for Professional Fees (Scope of Services and Tariff of Fees for Persons Registered in terms of Engineering Profession Act, 46 of 2000), including planning, design development, documentation, procurement, contract administration, and inspection. Consultants will be responsible for all Civil and Structural Engineering works related to the building projects, working with other professionals and providing inputs for Bill of Quantities development.
Only tenderers with suitable experience and qualified personnel are eligible. Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) with tax matters in order. At least one company director must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist/Technician. The preferred tenderer will also be required to submit an approved Insurer undertaking for Professional Indemnity specific to the project within 21 days of appointment.
