Supply, Installation and Maintenance of an Integrated Telecommunications Solution for Internet Service Provision, Network, and Hosted Voip for 36 Months

Mkhondo Local Municipality invites bids for the supply, installation, and maintenance of an integrated telecommunications solution over 36 months. This solution encompasses internet service provision, a Virtual Private Network, and a hosted VoIP telephone system, including call centre management. Key objectives include providing 100Mbps internet speed, supplying telephones and switchboard devices, configuring Quality of Service (QoS) between voice/data, and ensuring 97% uptime for internet and PBX services.
Prospective bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and submit all required documentation, completed in black permanent ink, on the municipality-provided forms. Bids will be evaluated through a multi-stage process, including compliance to mandatory returnables, a functionality assessment requiring a minimum score of 70% out of 100 points, followed by an 80/20 preference point system for price and specific goals. No awards will be made to bidders or their directors/shareholders in arrears with municipal rates for over 90 days, in the service of the state, or on National Treasury's Restricted Supplier list.
