The Eastern Cape Department Public Works and Infrastructure invites professional service providers for the refurbishments, repairs, and maintenance of the Barkley East Service Centre in the Joe Gqabi District, encompassing professional civil and structural engineering services. The scope of work is based on project requirements and the latest Engineering Council Board Notice for Guidelines for Services and Processes for Estimating Fees.
Only tenderers with suitable experience and suitably qualified personnel are eligible to submit bids. At least one company Director must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist, and tax matters must be in order with proof of CSD registration. The preferred tenderer will be required to submit an approved insurer undertaking for Professional Indemnity specific to the project within 21 days of appointment.
