Scope of Work
This tender is for the bulk electrical supply and electrification of low-cost housing and informal settlements for Mossel Bay Municipality. The works include the supply, delivery, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of medium-voltage reticulation networks, low-voltage reticulation networks, and house connections within the Mossel Bay Municipality area of supply.
Bidders must possess a CIDB grading of 6EP or higher. A compulsory site and information meeting will be held, and attendance is mandatory. Bidders are required to sub-contract a minimum of 10% and a maximum of 30% of the Contract Price to a local EME or QSE Level 1 B-BBEE registered contractor with a CIDB grading of 1EP or 2EP, who is also registered on the Municipality's Contractor Development Programme. This is a multi-year project ending 30 June 2029.
