Scope of Work
The project entails the replacement, supply, installation, and commissioning of split air conditioning units at O.R. Tambo International Airport. This work will be carried out in a live, 24-hour operational airport environment over a 24-month period, including the removal and safe disposal of old units, with any generated revenue returned to ACSA.
Bidders must be registered on the ACSA database for contractors and are required to subcontract a minimum of 30% of the work to a Targeted Enterprise. This Targeted Enterprise must be either an Exempted Micro Enterprise (EME) or a Qualifying Small Enterprise (QSE) with a B-BBEE Status Level Two Contributor, or be 50% or more black-owned, or 30% or more black women-owned. Key personnel, including technicians, artisans, and management, must be provided with their CVs appended to the resource proposal.
