Two-year Term Contract for Supply, Servicing, Repairs and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment for Amathole District and Buffalo City Metro Cluster Four

This two-year term contract involves the systematic annual servicing, maintenance, general, and ad-hoc repair and replacement of electrical installations for various facilities used by the Department of Social Development in the Buffalo City Metro and Amathole District areas of the Eastern Cape Province. The scope of work specifically includes distribution boards, luminaires, light switches, photocells, power outlets, fixed appliances, earthing, bonding, lightning protection, area lighting, and security lighting, ensuring all facilities comply with health and safety requirements as per SANS 10142.

Eligible tenderers must possess a CIDB Grading of 3EB or higher and suitable experience with qualified personnel for similar services. Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and submit proof of registration. Furthermore, compliance with tax matters, submission of all required forms in their original format, and adherence to specific CIDB grading requirements are mandatory.
