Two-year Term Contract for Supply, Servicing, Repairs and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment for Amathole District and Buffalo City Metro Cluster Two

This two-year term contract involves the supply, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of electrical equipment for facilities used by the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure within the Amathole District and Buffalo City Metro Cluster Two areas of the Eastern Cape. The work will encompass systematic annual servicing, general repairs, and ad-hoc replacements for various electrical installations including distribution boards, luminaires, light switches, photocells, power outlets, fixed appliances, earthing, bonding, lightning protection, area lighting, and security lighting.
Eligible bidders must possess a CIDB Grading of 3EB or higher and demonstrate suitable experience with appropriately qualified personnel for similar services. Key eligibility requirements include active registration with the CIDB, a valid CSD registration, submission of a minimum of three written contactable references for successfully completed projects, and provision of certified copies of a valid wireman's licence, a recognised electrician trade tested certificate, and the ID of the technician performing the work.
