Scope of Work
The project is a multi-disciplinary engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) initiative aimed at delivering a fully functional, modern fire protection system for fuel handling areas at the Transnet Pipelines Witbank Depot. This includes detailed design, supply, installation, commissioning, and handover of new fire protection infrastructure, such as water storage tanks, a fire pump house, fire pumps and foam systems, fire alarm and control systems, valve banks, and an extensive piping network.
Bidders must ensure electronic bid submissions are made at least a day before the closing date. A compulsory tender clarification meeting with a site visit is required, and failure to attend will result in disqualification. Tenderers must be validly registered with the CIDB for 9ME or higher class of construction work, or capable of being so prior to evaluation.
