Provision of Cube Satellite Bus Design, and Verification Testing to Integrate an Optical Payload

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is for the provision of Cube Satellite Bus Design, and Verification Testing to Integrate an Optical Payload. Suitably qualified service providers are invited to design and supply a Cube Satellite bus to house the CSIR's K-Line fire satellite optical payload, and to support its integration and testing. The scope includes work packages for a fire satellite mission concept study, system feasibility, preliminary budgets, satellite bus design and testing, hardware and software design, interface control document generation, technical design reviews, environmental tests, and Flat-Sat test setup integration.
Bidders must be registered on National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide their unique registration reference number. For joint ventures, a signed joint venture agreement, valid B-BBEE scorecard/certificate, Tax Compliance Status (TCS) or CSD Report for each partner, proof of ownership/shareholder certificates, and company registration certificates are required. Bidders must also provide a detailed pricing schedule on official company letterhead and a CSD registration report (for RSA suppliers).
