Supply, Delivery, and Fitment of New Tyres for Garden Route District Municipality Fleet (3 Years)

The successful bidder shall provide a comprehensive tyre management service for the Garden Route District Municipality fleet for a period of three (3) years. This includes the supply and delivery of new tyres (OEM specifications or approved equivalents), all related consumables, accessories, and ancillary materials for fitment, balancing, repair, maintenance, and safe operations of tyres and wheels. Services also encompass tyre fitness (removal, fitment, replacement of parts, balancing, alignment, rotation), tyre maintenance and repairs (punctures, patching, inspection, inflation adjustment), and a 24-hour emergency breakdown and call-out service, including mobile fitment and roadside assistance for the listed light vehicles, SUVs, heavy vehicles, trucks, buses, and specialized equipment.
Bidders must ensure full completion of documents in black ink, signed and initialled by an authorised signatory. A valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) Pin and MAAA number, along with registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), are compulsory. Bidders and their directors must not be in arrears with municipal rates and taxes for more than three months, or have a valid lease agreement, to claim locality preference points. Preference points will be awarded for B-BBEE status level contribution and locality within the Garden Route District. Bidders must also provide proof of a workshop (preferably in George) capable of providing tyre-related services, supported by two distinct contactable references, and evidence of a minimum one-month warranty/guarantee period for all repairs. Proof of registration or compliance with the National Regulator for Compulsory Speciation (NRCS) is also required.
