Supply and Delivery of Hydrogen Generators, Leak Detection Devices, Reverse Osmosis, De-Ionizer Systems, and Water Filtration Systems

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) requires the procurement, supply, and delivery of two Hydrogen Generators, along with onboard and handheld hydrogen leak detection devices and sensors, Reverse Osmosis and Water De-Ionizer Systems, and a Water Filtration System. The tender also includes Factory Acceptance Testing, comprehensive training, technical documentation, and five years' worth of maintenance and service kits for installation and operation at Gough and Marion Islands. The solution must be suitable for the island operating environment and compatible with existing hydrogen storage vessels.
Eligibility for this bid requires attendance at the compulsory briefing session, confirmation that the hydrogen generators conform to SANS 347 and PER 2009, provision of OEM training for SAWS technologists, agreement to a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at the OEM's or local agent's premises in South Africa, and the OEM must have a local footprint in South Africa or a local agent.
